Miya is getting so big!!!

Little Miya is almost 3 months old now. She has been laughing out loud now for several weeks and even holds her head up to look at her surrounding. She LOVES watching Hana and Gabriel playing.

Obento.

Here in Japan, mother's wake up at the crack of dawn to make bento meals for their children to take to school for lunch. They are not just any lunch, much love, creativity and thought goes into these! Hana really wanted me to make her one, so I bought a cookbook for children bento meals and here's what I created. Not too bad for my first bento creation!!!!! It's little cut out bunnies made from scrambled eggs on top of chicken fried rice, cooked carrots and orange slices!!!

Miya Lynn Cabral

Miya Lynn Cabral was born on August 18, 2008 at 7:45 am. She weighed 8lbs and 3 oz. and was 22.4 inches long. Mommy was lucky because the labor and delivery was only 2 hours and 15 minutes. Miya couldn't wait to meet her Mommy, Papi, big sister Hana and big brother Gabriel and we couldn't wait to meet her too! All are doing well and are adjusting to the amazing little addition to our family! We want to give thanks to our Lord and praise him for all of the wonderful blessings he provides for us each and every day. Also, thanks to our family and friends for all of your prayers!
